Not much information available on this vessel. The Neptuna was supposedly a British minesweeper built at Buckie Shipyard Ltd., Commercial Road, Buckie Banffshire, Scotland, in 1941 which was later converted into a dive charter boat.

The date of sinking is put at 29 April 1981 by grounding on the western side of Zabargad Island and is said to be well broken up. No other information found to date.

    There was a MV Neptuna in Darwin Harbour, Northern Territory, Australia on 19 Feb 1942 which was destroyed when it blew up after being bombed by the Japanese!
